Trend Watch 2014 steps inside the remarkable Vermont home of Steven Favreau, of Favreau Design, which he shares with his husband, Gary Decad. Looking for a grand, historic country farm within a community, they originally looked in France but found exactly what they wanted in Chelsea, Vermont. We are thrilled to have them as neighbors! Favreau restored the two-story, traditional 1832 Federal style home remaining true to its historic design architecturally. From there he infused the home with a style all his own – a perfect riot of color, pattern, and texture. Each room speaks volumes and contributes to the wonderfully jovial whole.
