ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST – July 2010: Cher’s Indian Fantasy

In her latest home, perched high above Los Angeles, Cher sought the help of friend and interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard to create a  sanctuary that is “ethnic, spicy, and romantic.” For starters he eliminated the apartment’s twelve rooms and created instead two loft-like open floors connected by a spiral staircase. “I always wanted an apartment that was one big bedroom,” says Cher, “because that’s really where I live…”

And ANICHINI is found throughout, from the embroidered silk pillows and silk and cashmere throw in the living room to the embroidered silk pillows and embroidered coverlet in the bedroom.
