ANICHINI is proud to have been chosen to provide the bedding for the Woodstock Inn & Resort.
The Woodstock Inn is a year-round destination which reflects a timeless resort experience. Nestled in Vermont’s Green Mountains, the Inn was established by Laurance and Mary Rockefeller. Set against the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park, the Woodstock Inn & Resort was named one of the top golf resorts in the country.
The HISTORY of the hotel dates back to 1793 when Captain Israel Richardson built one of the first lodging ACCOMMODATIONS in the shire town of Woodstock. In 1830, Moody heath, an expert carver and cabinetmaker, carved a golden eagle that was mounted above the tavern entrance. Later, the hotel joined Laurance rockefeller’s esteemed eco-friendly Rock Resorts. The original eagle is preserved in the Rockefeller Ballroom to this day. The Woodstock Inn has INCORPORATED the eagle symbol into their brand identity.
Currently the Inn is undergoing a complete renovation headed up by the design firm of Paul Duesing from Dallas. To speak to the resort’s history, Duesing wanted the resort logo of the eagle used in the bedding. Anichini designed a custom striped jacquard version of our PALLADIO sheeting with an in-woven eagle and custom green piping.
ANICHINI sheeting can be tailored with CUSTOM CONSTRUCTIONS, WEAVES, AND EMBROIDERIES.
